Stephanie Gill

Stephanie D. Gill, 48, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at her home in Godfrey with her family by her side.She was born on February 26, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Vaughn and Barbara (Priest) Jones.She married Daniel B. Gill on May 30, 1992, in Alton.  He survives.Stephanie was a member of Greater Alton Church in Rosewood Heights.She is preceded in Death by her beloved Grand Mother Ceola PriestIn addition to her husband, survivors include her father, Charles Vaughn of St. Louis, Missouri; mother, Barbara Jones of St. Louis, Missouri; four children, Michael (Melissa) Gill of Alton, James (Kasey) Gill of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Morgan Gill of Godfrey, Ethan Gill of Godfrey; one grandchild, Ryleigh Gill; five siblings, Charles "Chip" (Jacqueline)Vaughn, of Houston, Texas, Jennifer Jones of St. Louis, Missouri, Nicole Jones of St. Louis, Missouri, Marquita Vaughn of Mississippi, Brian Vaughn of St. Louis, Missouri; mother-in-law, Rudell Gill Martinez of Arizona; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2017, from 10am until time of service at 11am at Greater Alton Church in Rosewood Heights, with Pastor Tim Gill.`Memorials may be given to Greater Alton Church.Cremation rites have been accorded.Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto is handling arrangements.Online condolences can be given at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com.
