Stephanie Carrington, age 31, of Alton, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015, unexpectedly.
She was born April 13, 1984 in Alton, the daughter of Robert Lee and Kimberly (LeMay) Carrington.
Stephanie was the Assistant Manager at the Hit-N-Run on State St. in Alton. She loved to spend time with her children and had a “family dinner day” every Sunday at her parents’ home with family
She is survived by two children, Mariah Marie and Jocelyn Nicole Carrington; her parents, Bob and Kimberly Carrington of Alton; grandmothers, Mary LeMay of Alton and Emma Carrington of West Frankfurt, IL; a sister and her fiancée, Robin Carrington and Ryan Kelly of Godfrey; her companion, Butch Forbes; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Roy LeMay.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 26, 2015, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steven Helfrich.
Burial will take place in Short Cemetery in Cottage Hills.
Memorials may be made to the family for a trust fund for the children.
