Stanley Henry Karrick, 87, died at 6:57 a.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024 at his residence. He was born July 5, 1936 in Carlinville, IL the son of the late Everett and Myrtle (Behme) Karrick. He worked at Cahokia Marine Service for many years and was a member of the Wood River Moose. Surviving are four daughters, Karen Cobetto (John) of Dow, Debra Wall of Edenburg, IL, Penny Mautino of Spring Valley, IL and Amy Wilson of Godfrey, one son, Stanley Karrick Jr. (Liz) of Jerseyville, numerous grandchildren and two sisters, Helen Black well of Dow and Diane Butler of Vandelia. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his companion, Edna Viola Vinson, one son, Steven Karrick and one sister, Gladys Story. A Celebration of life will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Do Drop Inn in Dow, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Liver Foundation.
