Stacia A. Allen, 58, passed away at 4:49 am Sunday, January 2, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Health Care in Alton.
She was born on July 26, 1952, in Wood River, IL, the daughter of Harry Dean and Peggy Jean (Bridges) Baumeister.
She married Robert G. Allen on April 19, 1996 in Edwardsville, IL. He survives.
She worked in the accounting department for Lanter Corporation and the licensing/title department for Expert Licensing. She enjoyed making crafts.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her step mother, Sheryl Baumeister of Meadowbrook; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Neil Hutchins of Wilsonville and Amy and Brian Swanson of Worden; a son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Debra Elam Jr. of Mississippi; her step children and their spouses, Robert and Monica Allen of Texas and Kristy and Jason Guerra of Alton; thirteen grandchildren and two brothers, John Baumeister of Vandalia and Harry Baumeister Jr. of Meadowbrook.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
A memorial service will be held from 5 pm on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
