Solange Brown, 91, passed away at 8:25 pm Sunday December 24, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton.
She was born on October 26, 1926 in Paris, France the daughter of Felix F. Lostetter, and Aimee H. Paulmier.
Solange married Reathel Brown in December 1975, in Alton, IL. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1996.
Solange was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, East Alton. She loves cats, music and ballroom dancing. She was an accountant in France and retired from customer service at Pet Milk, St. Louis, Missouri.
She is survived by 3 sisters, Raymonde H. (Donald) Jackson of Midway, Ginette (Ron) Sevier of Godfrey and Nicole (Edward) Finke of Alton.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Andre’ Lostetter.
Visitation will be from 11 am until time of funeral at 1 pm, on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
