Shirley Jean (Shaw) Eaker, 72, passed away at 11:35 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2020 at Jerseyville Manor.
She was born on June 27, 1948 in Sebastopol, California to the late Vernon and Lela (Harrington) Shaw and graduated with the class of 1965 from Alton High School.
Surviving are a brother and sisters in-law, Dennis and Sandy Shaw of Rosewood Heights, three sisters and their spouses, Carol and Steve VanMeter of Wood River, Linda Shaw and Jeff Walker of Holcomb, Missouri; a brother in-law, Howard (Bud) Roady of Alton; along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lela Roady and Sandy Newby.
Cremation rights will be accorded and a private burial will take place at a later date at Upper Alton Cemetery.
Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville has been entrusted with arrangements.
