Shirley J. Adleman, 78, passed away December 29, 2020 at OSF St. Anthony's Health Center in Alton.
Born November 15, 1942 in Rockford, she was the daughter of Earl Joseph and Gladys Marie (Wheeler) Adleman.
Shirley had been a bus driver for the Special School District in St. Louis as well as for other transportation systems before retiring.
She is survived by nieces and nephews including, Cathy (Richard) Reichard, Connie (Gary) Giltner and many dear friends.
Her parents; long time partner, Glenna Tustanowski; sister and brother-in-law, June and Arthur Hardesty; and nieces, Deborah and Lori Hardesty preceded in death.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at a later date.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River was in charge of arrangements.
