Shirley Ann Hurley, 68, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at her residence on Thursday, July 30, 2026.
She was born May 30, 1958, in Alton, IL. She married Patrick L. Hurley on November 1, 1975 in Woodburn, IL.
She was a hairdresser. Shirley loved styling hair, motorcycle riding, traveling, the beach and being with her family.
She is survived by her spouse, Pat Hurley of Bunker Hill, IL, children, Chad Patrick (Beth) Hurley of Daphne, AL, Casey Ann (Shannon) Benderman of Bunker Hill, IL, Kimberly (Jason) Brewer of Bunker Hill, IL,10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brothers, James (Carol) Woodruff of Elizabethtown, KY, Donald (Teresa) Woodruff of Edwardsville, IL,uncle, Bill LeClaire of Edwardsville, IL and special sister, Tammy Orban of Bunker Hill, IL.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Ruth (Ramsey) Woodruff, brother, Gary, grandparents who raised her, Mary and Robert Ramsey, aunts who raised her, Daisy & Shirley.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 1pm-5pm at Bunker Hill Community Center with food and beverages to be served. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Lung Association, or American Cancer Society.
