Shirley Dublo

Shirley Dublo, 80, passed away peacefully at 5:35 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at her home in Alton, Illinois with her family by her side.

She was born on December 14, 1938 in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Myrtle Rogers.

She is survived by three children, Janet DeSherlia (Jim)of Alton, IL; Jim Kirsch (Rebecca) of Alton, IL; and Sue (Leonard) Gonzales of Godfrey, IL. As well as her biological grandchildren; Bryan (Holly) DeSherlia, Brandon and Alyssa Gonzales, and Kristin Kirsch, and one great-grandchild; Ezra DeSherlia. Additional grandchildren: Julie (Brian) Tinnon, Amy DeSherlia, Nicholas (Alyssa) Clark, Stephanie (Jeff) Ponce, Zack Moore, Meghan, Jacob and Kyle Unterbrink, Addison and Kinley Clark, Cali Moore, Madison Patterson.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law Michael R. DeSherlia. As well as her special cousins.

Shirley worked at Olin Corporation for 20 years until her retirement in 1993. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all, and touched many lives. She will be greatly missed. Shirley loved to be near the mountains and her family.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday January 29, 2019 at Gent Funeral Home on State Street in Alton, Illinois.
