Shirley Davis

Shirley M. Davis, nee Egger, 89, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, May 29, 1936, in Belleville, IL, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, IL.

Shirley worked as a bus driver for Bi-State Transit. Shirley and her sister,Wanda, were the pioneers of women bus drivers. She was a ballroom dancer with Fred Astaire Dance Studio. Shirley sang for numerous area country bands, worked at Fun Spot, and was an usher at the Fox.
