Shirley A. Young, 83, of Brighton, died at 9:21 A.M. on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at her home.
She was born to the late Earl W. & Margaret A. (McClain) Callison on January 7, 1932 in Butler, Illinois.
She was a retired book keeper for Storyland Mobile Park.
She married Charles "Chuck" H. Young on August 20, 1966 in Brighton, Illinois. Chuck survives and resides in Brighton.
Also surviving are 3 daughters; Pamela & Scott Halford of Texas City, Texas, Mic & Tim Young of Godfrey, Kim & Don Custer of Brighton, 3 sons; Rick & Sharon Vaughn of S. Roxana, Mike & Donna Young Alton, Pat & Nancy Young of Fosterburg, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 sister; Norma Eden of Hawaii, 1 brother John & Alice Callison of Rosewood Heights, 1 sister-in-law; Shirley Callison of Alabama.
Preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother; Leonard Callison
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton.
