Shelly Colleen Davidson, 58, of Wood River, IL, passed away at 5:57 p.m. Sun. July 30, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL.
She was born Jan. 4, 1959 in Jerseyville, IL to Lois Mae (Squier) Lorsbach of Hardin, IL and the late George William Lorsbach Jr.
She and Bruce A. Davidson were married Jan. 5, 1990 in Wood River. He survives in Wood River.
Shelly had been a hairdresser and later worked as an assistant underwriter for Miller’s Mutual and Ohio Casualty.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son: Jason M. (Natasha) Woolsey of Roxana, IL; step-daughter: Michelle Basham (Donnie Garris) of Wood River; 2 step-sons: Phillip Davidson (Roberta Lawson-Constable) of Medora, IL and Allan (Karin) Davidson of Alton; granddaughter: Aubrey Woolsey; and 2 step-granddaughters: Laurin Davidson and Hannah Aldridge.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, George William Lorsbach III.
