Sheila Ellen McCormack, 67, passed away at 8 am, Monday, October 22, 2018 at Evelyn's House in Creve Coeur, MO.
Born on July 8, 1951 in Oxford, NY, she was the daughter of Sidney and Ellen (Baker) Gyles.
Sheila was a self-employed seamstress and dress maker.
On June 20, 1982 in Plymouth, NY, she married Philip McCormack. He survives.
Surviving also are two sons, Paul (Sara) McCormack of East Alton, Seamus Waldrren of Aylesbury, England; a daughter, Meridith (Joe) McCracken of Roxana; six grandchildren; a great grandchild; brother, Thomas Gyles; and two sisters, Eileen Andrew of Norwich, NY and JoAnn Faben in New York.
Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Holly Garris; brother Sideny Gyles; and sister, Dorothy Gyles.
A Celebration of Life memorial visitation will be from 12:30 until time of service at 1 pm on Saturday, October 27 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Father Donald Wolford will officiate.
Evelyn's House, 1000 N. Mason Rd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141 has been designated as a memorial.
