Shawn Allen Lambert, 21, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 1:09 a.m. Sat. Apr. 20, 2019 at Gateway Regional Medical Center ER in Granite City from injuries sustained in an accident.
He was born Aug. 14, 1997 in St. Louis, MO to Bobbie Jo Michelle Hollenbeck of Granite City and John K. Lambert of St. Louis.
Shawn was an Industrial Cleaner for U.S. Steel. He loved spending time with his family and friends, riding his motorcycle, fishing and camping. He loved R.C. Cars, his G.T.O., Tahoe and especially his beloved dog, Jack. He loved spending time with his only nephew Landon and teaching him new things.
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by a brother: John Lambert Jr. of Roxana, IL, a sister: Christy Lambert of Granite City; a nephew: Landon Lambert of Roxana; step-mother: Susan Lambert of St. Louis; maternal grandfather: Frank Hollenbeck of Granite City; paternal grandmother: Rosetta Lambert of St. Louis; aunt: Christina (Gary) Crites of Granite City; uncle: Frank Hollenbeck Jr. of Granite City; and cousin Gary Crites Jr. of Granite City.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Mary Hollenbeck and Charles Lambert.
Visitation will be from Noon until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Fri. Apr. 26, 2019 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory.
