Sharon G. Walker, 85, of Collinsville, IL, born August 2, 1940, in Collinsville, Il and passed away on Saturday June 27, 2026, at Mercy South Medical Center in St. Louis, MO
Sharon attended the Lutheran Church. She worked at Brunos Bakery in Collinsville and later retired from Famous Barr/Macys. She enjoyed traveling, watching her favorite TV programs and her pets. Most of all she loved her family and the times they spent together.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Walker Jr. whom she married January 26, 1976, in Edwardsville, IL and he passed away on June 4, 2005; and her parents, Harold A. and Mary (nee Seebode) Shannon.
Surviving is her son, Roy E. (Carrie) Walker III of St. Louis, MO; and her grandchildren, Christopher (Rachel) Phipps and Kimberly Sandifer; and many dear friends.

Visitation for Sharon will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday, July 1, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL and 10 to 11 am on Thursday, July 2 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Troy, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Troy, IL with Rev. Albert Colver officiating. Interment in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.
