Sharon Russell, 71, passed away at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton.
Born Apr. 4, 1947 in Granite City, she was a daughter of William Robert and Clydelle Irene (Zeugin) Stroud
She married Dewey Russell, Jr. on Apr. 15, 2004 in Grandview, MO. He passed away July 11, 2016.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Glen Carbon.
Surviving are three sons, Michael Gibson of Bunker Hill, Kenny Gibson of New Hampshire and Stephen Bland of Wood River; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; a sister, Linda Jean Morgan of Fairfield, IL; and a brother, Gary William Stroud of Granite City.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her parents and two sons, Anthony and Robert Gibson.
The family will hold memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2250 IL State Rt. 157, Glen Carbon, IL.
