Sharon Patton

Sharon Kay Patton, 67, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, May 30, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side. 

She was born October 19, 1948 in Princeton, KY, the daughter of Luther and Esther (Hamby) Byarly. Sharon retired as the office manager at VIP Manor and was employed there for over 25 years.  She was a member of River of Life Family Church in Alton. Sharon enjoyed cooking, time in the yard gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pastors Jennifer and Mark Church of Bethalto; a son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Dianne Dunnagan of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Micah, Isaiah, Jillian, Destiny and Nicole; six siblings, Sylvia Duncan of Princeton, KY, Ann Canada of Fredonia, KY, Kathy Henderson of Princeton, KY, Joyce Fitzgerald of Madisonville, KY, Wayne Byarly of Bowling Green, KY, and Lisa Strack of Eddyville, KY.  

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Byarly

A celebration of life service will be on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 7 pm at River of Life Family Church in Alton with Pastor Mark Church officiating.

Private burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dream Center in Alton, P.O. Box 1044, Alton, IL, 62002.
