Sharon K. Carter, 75, passed away 9:10 a.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at her residence.
Born n Alton on October 10, 1941, she was the daughter of Delbert and Geraldine (Tomerlin) Pendleton.
On October 8, 1959, she married Lloyd Glenn Carter. He died September 14, 2013.
Surviving are two daughters, Cindy (Fred) Denny of South Roxana, Holly Selhime of Pangburn, AR; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Her parents; husband; son, Michael Lloyd Carter; brother, Del Pendleton; ans a sister, Shirley Pendleton preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Rev. Dr. Earl L. Gillett and Lloyd Allen Denny will officiate.
Burial will follow in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
