Scott Bradley Struif, 70, died at 11:06 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at home.
He was born June 19, 1955 in Alton, the son of the late James and Shirley (Spatz) Struif. He worked as an attorney and computer programmer for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a talented drummer.
On January 2, 2014, he married Janie Struif and she preceded him in death.
Surviving are one son, Brennan Struif of Godfrey, one brother, Jeff Struif (Missy) of Godfrey and two sisters, Jamie Struif-Pehowski of Iowa and Susie Bazzell (Lance) of Godfrey and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Steven Pehowski.
Cremation rites were accorded. Memorials may be made to Jazz Foundation of America.
