Scott Fitzgerald, 67, of Roxana, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on February 21, 1957, in Alton, Illinois, son of the late Donald and Elizabeth Joan (Prather) Fitzgerald.
Scott retired from Federal Steel in East Alton as a union Ironworker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, barbecue, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his brother, David (Marian) Fitzgerald of Bethalto; sisters Jan Metz of Decatur, Julie (Robert) Sharp of Edwardsville, Jill (Brad) Martin of Rockbridge, and Jeri (Rob) Dawson of Alton; several nieces and nephews; and his two cats Hondo and Louie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 11 am until time of service at 12 pm, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, IL, with Pastor Terry McKinzie officiating.
Memorials can be made to a charity of one's choice.
