Scott Edward Secor, 65, passed away 5:49 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Alton on April 6, 1952, he was the son of Walton Dwight and Norma Dae (Jones) Secor.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, he had worked as an assemblyman for the Ford Motor Company before retiring.
Scott had been a member of East Alton American Legion Post 794 and South Roxana VFW; and was fan of the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals.
Surviving are a son, Scott W. Secor (fiance', Chanel Deshotel) of South Roxana; daughter, Bailie D. (Marcus) Garvin of Wood River; grandchildren, Keleigh and Liam Secor; brother, Larry (Bennie) Secor; sisters, Pam (Jack) Berry, Becky (Dan) Stark, Jodie (Rick) Huebner, Missy (Mark) Maendele.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, January 12 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River with a visitation following the service and continuing until 5 p.m. Pastor Dave Romoser will officiate.
