Scott Daniel Beasley, 61, of Greenville, IL, passed away unexpectedly Tues. Feb. 13, 2024 in Monticello, IN.

He was born Mar. 9, 1962 in Granite City, a son of the late Carolyn Helen (Papp) Sanders and Paul Dean Beasley.

Scott served in the Missouri Army National Guard.  He worked in construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Local #520 and was currently working for Keeley Companies.  He enjoyed fishing in his spare time but his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Anna Willis and Lexi Young; a step-daughter: Calee Harl; 2 step-sons: Bryant Harl and Justin Strohl; many grandchildren, including: McKenzi Wallace, Peyton Willis, Lucas Willis, Nahdia Young and Royce Young; brothers: David (Carole) Beasley, Phillip Beasley, Dennis (Karen) Beasley, Clifford (Elizabeth) Sanders, Walter Sanders and Matthew Sanders; sisters: Charlene (Brad) Back and Shelly Henry; and his longtime loving companion: Tammy Hopkins.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father: Charles Edward Sanders; and 2 sisters: Beverly Bridgeman and Robin Wallace.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Sat. Feb. 24, 2024 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory.
