Scott Ramage

Scott Allen Ramage, 37, of Edwardsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at 4:49 pm, at Saint Louis University.

He was born on June 16, 1981, in Waukegan, IL, the son of James A. Ramage and his wife Sandi of Naples, FL and Karen M. Wesinger of Leaf River, IL.  He married Sandy M. Thomas on June 26, 2004 in New Athens, IL.  She survives.

Scott was employed at Acropolis Technology in Clayton, MO as the VCIO for the past five years.  He also served in the United States Air Force for six years.  Scott was a member of Son’s of the American Revolution and in the pool league in the local Riverbend and St. Louis areas.  He was an amateur radio operator. Scott loved to tinker with technology.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, pulling pranks on friends as well as spending time with his family and friends.

Along with his wife, Scott is survived by his daughter Willa Ramage of Edwardsville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tim and Rose Thomas of New Athens; his siblings, Jenell (Stan) Bush of Byron, IL, Robin (Jeff) Nottingham of Antioch, IL, and Dale (Ron) Miller of Bristol, WI; brother-in-law, Daniel (Rachel) Thompson of Japan; and a sister-in-law, Denise (Phil) Bova of St. Louis, MO.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.  Cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorials may be made to a Bright Start Education Fund in the name of Willa Ramage.
