Sandra L. Rusk, 68, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Rosewood Care Center in Alton.
She was born February 21, 1949, in Paris, Illinois, the daughter of Ben and Wilma (Michels) Schuster.
Sandra married James Rusk on August 18, 1972, in Danville, Illinois. He survives.
She worked for Owens-Brockway as a transportation coordinator for 12 years prior to retirement. She enjoyed reading and listening to Elvis.
In addition to her husband, Jim, survivors include one son and his wife, Eric and Ashley Rusk of Collinsville; one aunt, Faye Yunkis; and three cousins, Darlene D’Ambersio, Roxanne Michels, and Kay Wolfe.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
