Samuel Lee Bishop Jr. 49, of Brighton, IL passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Robings Manor in Brighton, IL.  He was born July 14, 1967 in Kansas City, MO.  He married Jody Farmer February 13, 2009 in Independence, MO.He is survived by his wife Jody Bishop of Brighton, IL; son, Samuel Lee Bishop III of Brighton, IL; four daughters, Lyndsee Banks of Grandview, MO, Alicia LeMieux of Kansas City, MO, Mercades Bishop of Brighton and Jasmine Bishop of Edwardsville, IL; two grandchildren, Nyla and Sophia; stepchildren, Beth Booker of Brighton, IL, Brianna, Emilee and Jayme Haltenhoff of Richview, IL; father, Samuel Lee Bishop Sr. of Kansas City, MO; mother, Dorothy (Harris) Bishop of Grambling, LA; two brothers, Jerry and Virgil Porchia of Raytown, MO and three sisters, Belinda Clapp of Kansas City, Beatrice Bishop of Wichita, KS and Ann Scott of Davenport, FL.He was preceded in death by his sister, Lourinda Porchia.Cremation services entrusted to Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights.  The family will hold memorial services at a later date.  Memorials can be made to the funeral home in care of the family.  Online guestbook available at www.paynicfh.com.
