Sally J. Riley, 78, passed away at 3:36 am on Tuesday December 27, 2016 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Sally was born on November 1, 1938 in McLeansboro, IL. The daughter of the late Roy and Delsie Endicott.
She married William D. Riley on June 29, 1985 in Alton.
She was a registered nurse at Alton Memorial Hospital for 40 years.
In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by a daughter Sheri Hogg of MI; a son James Ellis of NM; a brother Leroy Endicott; a sister Donna Lakin; several grand and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 6pm Wednesday December 28, 2016 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.
A private burial will be at a later date at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
