Ryan David Honke, 42, passed away at 4:16 pm on Tuesday October 25, 2016 at his home in Alton.
He was born on July 6, 1974 in Alton, the son of Dennis Honke and Connie (Volner) Edmands.
He worked for Universal Studios in Florida as a Pyro Technician for over 10 years, loving anything to do with fireworks or explosives. He enjoyed spending evenings looking through his telescope and studying astronomy. He was an avid animal lover especially his cat Kiki.
He is survived by his mother, Connie and her husband Chuck Edmands of Brevard, NC; a grandmother Nell Volner; two brothers and their wives Rob and Maleana Honke of Alton and Scott and Jackie Honke of Little River Academy, TX; two nieces Korin and Madison; a nephew Andrew; several aunts, uncles, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father Dennis in 2004.
A private Memorial Service has been scheduled for a later date.
