Ryan Cerentano

Ryan Nolan Cerentano, 40, of Granite City, IL passed away at 10:41 p.m. Wed. Aug. 26, 2026 at SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

He was born Sept. 27, 1985 in Litchfield, IL to Gerry (Anderson) Muenstermann of Edwardsville, IL and the late Michael Anthony Cerentano Sr.

He and Amber Skaggs were married Apr. 6, 2018 in Madison County, IL. She survives.

Ryan was a Union Labor apprentice with Local #397. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church and was active in the church’s Men’s Recovery Program.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son: Nolan Michael Cerentano; daughters: Lily Kay Cerentano and Emma Ryanne Cerentano; brothers: Jeremy Streeb, T.J. Muenstermann, Michael (Megan) Cerentano Jr. and Brent (Holly) Muenstermann; step-father: Tony Muenstermann; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Sherie and Don Skaggs; maternal grandmother: Guynell Anderson; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother: Tyler Muenstermann; grandparents: Barbara Jean Lutz, Anthony Cerentano, Fred Anderson and Joan Armstrong Muenstermann.

Visitation will be from Noon until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Wed. Sept. 2, 2026 at Mt. Zion Church in Granite City with Pastor Phil Warren officiating. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help defray costs and other medical expenses and may be accepted at the funeral home or at services.
