Russell E. Greeling, 70, of Jerseyville, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 8:55pm at Jerseyville Community Hospital.
He worked for Mead Packing; and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shoeing horse and team roping.
Russell is survived by his son, Shawn Greeling of Jerseyville, IL; 3 grandchildren, Courtney Greeling, Haley Greeling, and Brittany Smith; a brother, Donald Greeling of Oneidia, IL; 4 sisters, Juanita Cooper of Godfrey, IL, Viola Huebner of Woodriver, IL, Wanda King of Godfrey, IL, and Doris Penland of Marshfield, MO; several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Bob Greeling; two sisters, Vivian Monke and Mary Bick; and an infant brother Edward Charles.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10 am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery in Godfrey.
Memorials may be given to the Family to help cover funeral expenses.
