Ruby Piersol

Ruby Irene Piersol, nee Evans, 97, of Swansea, IL, born Friday, March 29, 1929, in Catawissa, MO, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Grand Manor Independent Senior Living in Swansea, IL.

Irene worked as a Secretary for Cahokia Park United Methodist Church. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Belleville, IL. Family was the most important thing to Irene. She was always planning events to gather the family together. Those were the times she cherished the most.

She was preceded in death by her:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Donor’s charity of choice.

Celebration of Life Service: Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, July 13, 2026, at Union United Methodist Church Chapel (721 East Main St. Belleville, IL 62220) with Pastor John Annabel officiating. Private Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirkwood, MO at a later date.
