Ruby Campbell, 95, passed away at 3:24 pm, Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.She was born July 15, 1921, in Gallatin County, near Eldorado, Illinois, the daughter of Noah and Lillian (Oliver) Horton.Ruby married Reed Campbell on August 13, 1936, in Gallatin County. He preceded her in deathRuby’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.Survivors include eleven children and their spouses, Earl and Nancy Campbell of Bethalto, Juanita Jones of St. Joseph, Illinois, Ella Cox of White Hall, Illinois, Yvonne and Richard Cloninger of Bethalto, Donna and Butch Zipprich of Eldred, Illinois, Norma and Bob Eschbach of White Hall, Illinois, Terry and Frances Campbell of Roodhouse, Illinois, Joseph and Lona Campbell of Brussels, Illinois, John and Dixie Campbell of White Hall, Illinois, Joannie Bennett of Roodhouse, Illinois, and Carl Campbell of White Hall, Illinois; numerous, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and one sister Naomi Tite of Wood River.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Russell Campbell, four brothers, and two sisters.Visitation will be from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm on Friday, October 28, 2016, at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, with Pastor Tim Naylor officiating.Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.Memorials may be given to The American Heart Association or The American Cancer Society.Online condolences and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
