Roy Jay Anderson, 75, of Brighton, IL, died at Christian Hospital North East, St. Louis, MO on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 8:45 pm.
He was born April 2, 1946, in Litchfield, IL to David L. Anderson & Gloria L. (Enos) Anderson. He married Vicky K. (Vaughn) Anderson on July 18, 1970, in Bunker Hill, IL. He was retired after having been an operator at Shell Oil Co. Roy was a veteran of the US Army after having served during Vietnam. Roy was a member of the American Legion and NRA.
He is survived by his spouse, Vicky Anderson of Brighton, IL; children, Amy (Donald) Harvill of Wilsonville, IL, Leah (Evan) Lamb of Godfrey, IL, Michael Anderson of Brighton, IL; grandchildren, Tiffany Cartwright, Joshua Harvill; great-grandchild, Everly Cartwright; and brother, David (Leanne) Anderson of Bunker Hill, IL.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, IL from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral services are Monday, November 22, 2021, at 7:00 PM at Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, IL. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 10:30 am at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Bunker Hill, IL.
