Rosemary Williams

Rosemary Williams, nee Mueller, 96, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, December 3, 1928, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Memorial Hospital West in Belleville, IL.

Rosemary will be remembered for her kind heart, bright smile, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met. A natural caregiver, she dedicated her time to helping others through her in-home care, offering comfort and compassion to those who needed it most.

Along with her caregiving work, Rosemary spent many years as an administrator with Group Health Plan, where her attention to detail and caring nature made her a trusted and respected colleague. She was also proud to have helped form the Women in Construction group, paving the way for others and showing by example that hard work and determination could build more than just structures- it could build community.

In her spare time, Rosemary loved keeping her mind sharp with crosswords, Sudoku, and puzzles, and she could often be found lost in a good book. She was a gifted storyteller who loved to talk and share a laugh. Rosemary made sure no one ever left her presence without a hug, a smile, and a lipstick kiss.
