Rosemary Sauerwein, nee Fluck, 66, of O’Fallon, IL, born August 22, 1960, in Belleville, IL, died Monday, October 28, 2026, at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL.
Rosemary loved spending time with her family, especially her sister Lillan with whom she played bingo multiple times a week and her grandkids, which she adored and couldn't get enough of. She also enjoyed watching the St Louis Cardinals play. Even though she wasn't able to go in the recent years, she also enjoyed going to country music concerts with her oldest daughter Jennifer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Katherine, nee Heyde, Fluck; and a sister, Rosalie Fluck.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, John Sauerwein, whom she married on July 1, 1984; two daughters, Jennifer Sauerwein and Ashley (Tyler) Warhoover; two grandchildren, Aubrey and Dylan; two brothers, Melvin and Robert Fluck; a sister, Lillian Woodcock; and nieces and nephews.
