Rosemary Overmeyer

Rosemary Overmeyer, 91, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017, in Woodstock, Georgia.She was born on September 6, 1925, in Rushville, Missouri, the daughter of Everett and Celia (Cloninger) Cole.Rosemary married Charles Overmeyer on April 13, 1941 in St. Charles, Missouri. He precedes her in death.Survivors include three children, Larry Overmeyer of Bethalto; Judy Waymire of Woodstock, GA, Valeria and John Baldwin of Alton; a son-in-law, Donald Pearson of Dorsey; nine grandchildren, Carrie Kalina, Mark Overmeyer, Fallon Overmeyer, James Pearson, Mary Ellen Schroeder, Brian Waymire, Marcy White, Charles Baldwin, Alex Baldwin; and sixteen great grandchildren.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Karen Pearson; a grandson, Benjamin Baldwin; and one sister, Clara Pile; and four brothers, Everett Cole, Ervin Cole, Leo Cole and Troy Cole.A private family service was held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.Burial followed in Grimes-Neely Cemetery in Jerseyville.Memorials may be given Grimes- Neely Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.Online condolences can be given at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com.
