Rose Ann Schobernd, age 78 died at 3:36 AM on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at DePaul Hospital in St Louis. She was born in Meppen on July 28, 1939 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Kerkhoff) Pohlman. Rose Ann liked to crochet and bake cookies. On April 18, 1964 in Batchtown she married Allen W. Schobernd and he preceded her in death on June 30, 2000.
Surviving are one daughter; Ann Marie Phipps of Godfrey, one son; Timothy A. Schobernd of Hardin, three grandchildren; Joseph, Andrew and Elizabeth Phipps, one brother; Lawrence Pohlman Jr (Pat) of Godfrey and one sister; Ann Neidlinger of Michigan City, Indiana. She was preceded in death by a brother in law; DuWayne Neidlinger.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday.
