Ronald Burns Ronald R. Burns, 61 of Brighton, died unexpectedly at 6:30 A.M. on Friday, February 10, 2017.

He was born to the late Allie "Shorty" & Geneva Montel (Hutchcraft) Burns on March 25, 1957 in Alton, Illinois.

Ron was a well known meat cutter and owner/operator of Burns Wild Game and H&B Ham.

He was an active member of the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include 1 son: Randy (Amanda) Burns of Brighton, 3 grandchildren; Grace & Emily Burns, Joseph Vellella, 3 sisters; Rhonda Kay West of Brighton, Linda Unnerstahl of Florida, Connie Graham of Florida, 2 brothers; Robert Burns of Onley, Il., Marvin Burns of Brighton.

Besides his parents, Ron was preceded in death by 4 brothers; Norman, Richard, Gerald & Randy Burns, 2 infant sisters; Bonnie Sue & Betty Lou

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton.

Rev. Robert Burns will officiate

Burial will take place at the Brighton Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Brighton Fire Department.
