Ronald W. Kaempf, 64, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 10:52 a.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at his home.
He was born January 13, 1961, in Germany, a son of Vernon and Alice M. (Larson) Kaempf.
The Gulf War veteran proudly served his country with the United States Navy and United States Army.
He loved working at the Granite City Township Hall and had worked at Jerry's Cafeteria as a prep cook, janitor and caterer with 31 years of dedicated service. Ron will be remembered as a son, brother, uncle and friend to many.
In celebration of his life, you may meet at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, for a procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Graveside services and military honors will be held.
