Ronald Bray

Ronald L. Bray, 74, of Gillespie, IL, died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 10:24 am.  He was born February 6, 1950, in Litchfield, IL to Andrew Bray & Elizabeth Dunn Bray.  He married Nancy Meehan Bray on September 15, 1972 in Gillespie, IL.  He was retired after having been an inspector for Olin Brass.  Ronald was a member of the US Navy Reserves.  He enjoyed sports especially football, horseback riding and camping.  He is survived by his spouse, Nancy Bray of Gillespie, IL, children, Heath (Kylee) Bray of River Forest, IL, Trinity (Brad, Jr.) Bray - Jett of Gillespie, IL, grandchildren, Kira, Lacey, Owen, brother, Gary (Kay) Bray of Litchfield, IL, sister, Nancy (Arlin) Cunningham of Brighton, IL, sister in law, Pat Bray of Gillespie, IL, many nieces, nephews, several great nieces and great nephews.  Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Andrew J. Bray.  Friends may call on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at SS Simon & Jude Church, Gillespie from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.  A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at SS Simon & Jude Church, Gillespie at 11:00 am.  Memorials are suggested to the HEIDI Foundation or Knights of Columbus of Gillespie.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.
