Rodney Freytag

Rodney Freytag, 58, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026 at his home.

Born Nov. 6, 1967 in Alton, he was a son of Edward Freytag and Doris M. (Bosomworth) Freytag.

Rodney worked as a landscaper. He enjoyed working and spending time with his sister and his friends.

He is survived by a sister, Tammy (John) Higgins; two brothers, Timothy (Lisa) Freytag and Steven Freytag; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Doris, and a sister, Rhonda Freytag.

A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
