Rodney Witt

Rodney Elsworth Witt, 67, died suddenly at 2:05 a.m., Friday, February 9, 2018 at his residence.

Surviving are his wife, Margie Witt of Jerseyville

Five children and their spouses: 

1) Jennifer and Don Mensik of Channahon

2) Jackie and John Iovinelli of River Grove

3) Jamie and Nathan Loellke of Jerseyville

4) Janet and Erik Thompson of Seneca

5) Tony and Amanda Witt of Jerseyville

10 Grandchildren

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyvile. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m., Wednesday at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Jerseyville, with Father Marty Smith officiating.

He will be laid to rest in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Jerseyville, with the Tri County Honor Guard conducting military graveside rites.

Memorials may be given to the Tri County Honor Guard in care of the funeral home.
