Roberta M. Huebner, 81, passed away at 3 P.M. on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at University Nursing and Rehab in Edwardsville. She was born on December 20, 1942, in Rolla, Missouri, the daughter of the late Archibald H. and Augustine L. (Salts) Campbell. She married John Robert Huebner on April 22, 1961, and he preceded her in death on January 19, 2014. Survivors include son John (Laurie) Huebner of Rosewood Heights, son David (Erika) Huebner of St. Louis, and daughter Allison (Jason) Woerner of Ballwin, Missouri. Grandchildren include Sarah (Matt), John Patrick, Jack, Matthew, Amy (Sam), Molly, and Zane. Great Grandchildren include Christopher, Isaac, and Emily. She also had many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Roberta was formerly employed at The Court of Appeals, 8th District, and as a corporate librarian at Monsanto and McDonnell-Douglas. She enjoyed travelling, spending time with her family, and writing. She published the Cousin’s Club Newsletter with news of her grandchildren and extended family.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: James, Mary, Floyd, Clarence, Claude, and Bobbie.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
