Roberta L. Morrill, 79, passed away 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016.
Born in Thebes, IL on July 18, 1937, she was the daughter of Leslie and Norma (Bedwell) Tupper.
She had worked as a nurse's aid at Wood River Twp. Hospital several years, before retiring.
On April 18, 1954 in Corinth, MS, she married Elmer Russell "Joe" Morrill. He died January 3, 1999.
Surviving are three sons, Larry and Kenneth Morrill of Roxana, Robert Morrill of East Alton; four daughters, Terry (Rick) Miller of North Carolina, Tina (Ron) Bertoletti of Fosterburg, Barbara (Louis) Joyner and Sharon Mertz all of Wood River; twelve grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a brother, Norman Tupper of Wood River.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Russell Morrill; and sister, Linda Jones.
Private services were conducted at Marks Mortuary in Wood River with Rev. Gary Ballard officiating.
