Robert J. Wright, 63, of Benld passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
A private family service is planned for a later date.
He was born in Chicago on November 10, 1963 to Andrew and Geraldine Wright. Robert graduated from Gillespie High School in 1981.
Robert worked as a florist for his parents at the Blossom Shop in Gillespie. He was also self employed as a DJ.
Robert had a big heart and a great sense of humor.
He is survived by Kellie (Phil) Vesper, Bill (Jennifer) Carter, Theresa Carter, Donald Montoro, Veronica (Eric) Waterkotte, Hunter (fiancée, Sydney) Vesper, Owen (Janel) Carter, Joey and Jake Carter, McKenna Montoro, Autumn and Liam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Geraldine Wright and uncle and aunt, Bill and Mary Carter.
