Robert L. Shelton, II, 57, died Sunday, September 25, 2016.

Born in Alton on December 2, 1958, he was the son of Robert L. and Frances (Vantrease) Shelton.

Surviving are a son Perry Shelton of Michigan; two grandchildren; brother, Craig Shelton; sisters, Sheri Sullivan of Jerseyville and Dawn Lemons of South Roxana; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services and burial were conducted at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River was in charge of arrangements.
