Robert “Bob” Howard, age 66 of Greenville, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville.
The family will have a celebration of life at the Greenville Country Club at a later date. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials are suggested to the Greenville Country Club or Bond County Humane Society. Donnell–Wiegand Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Robert, the son of William Charles “Smokey” and Mary Elizabeth Howard, was born January 19, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Bob was raised in Memphis, attended the local schools and graduated from Messick High School with the Class of 1977. He worked in construction and was a supervisor with Piasa Commercial Interiors in Collinsville, Illinois for the past 30 years.
Bob and Sandy Brown were united in marriage on June 13, 1995 in Las Vegas. They have enjoyed 30 years together. Bob and Sandy were best friends, loved playing golf and played many tournaments together. Traveling and being with family, friends, and his dog Chloe, were very important to him.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy, his mother Mary, and daughters Stacy (Christina) Howard and Jamie Coleman. He is survived by grandsons Landon and Jack Coleman. He also leaves behind sisters Sue Stiles and Wanda (JC) Buckley.
