Robert Gene Chism, 82, of Medora, passed away at 7:56 pm on Wed Dec 12, 2018 at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon. He was born on July 1, 1936 in Medora to Gene Loper & Iva Elta (Plogger) Chism.
He married Donna Eileen (Voorhees) Chism on July 25, 1958 in Brighton. She passed away Oct 3, 2013.
He is survived by three sons & daughters in laws; Steve & Lynne Chism of Brighton, Kenneth & Denise Chism of Moro and Keith & Jo Ellen Chism of Houston, TX, nine grandchildren & thirteen great grandchildren.
Robert was a steel worker at Laclede Steel and a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Visitation will be 10-11 am Dec 17, 2018 at Targhetta F H in Brighton
Funeral services will be at 11 am Dec 17, 2018 at Targhetta F H in Brighton with Rev Rich Stuckey officiating.
Burial will be in Medora Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to Southwestern Foundation for Educational Excellence.
