Robert Moss

Robert F. Moss age 84 passed away on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at 7:16 p.m. at home with his family at his side. He was born February 22, 1931 in Grapevine, Arkansas. the son of William and Gracie (Dorn) Moss She preceded him in death in 1961. Robert married the former Ella Mae Fields on January 20, 1952 , she preceded him in death in 1995. He served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1956. He was employed with Laclede Steel Company retiring in 1995. Robert was a member of St. James Baptist Church. He was a great conversationalist sharing his wisdom with many. He especially enjoyed pending time with his children and grandchildren.He is survived by his daughters Tamica (Khada) Hollaway and Sa-phina (Dedrick) Littizs, grandchildren De'Markus, De'Vontre, Ded'Rionna, Ta'Mon, Ray'AuhNah, Ta'Mear and Nevha sisters Gerthe Sowell and Patricia Moss both of California; and Barbara White Minnesota; special friend Helen McCarter, other relatives and many friends.He was also preceded in death by a brother William Moss at the age of 5.Visitation Wednesday August 5, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Unity Fellowship Church in GodfreyRev.
