Robert Charles Gordon, Sr., 57, passed away at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2021, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 12, 1964, in Highland, he was a son of Lewis Frederick Gordon, Sr. of South Roxana, and the late Elizabeth (Hencke) Gordon.
He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army, serving 20 years.
In addition to his father, he is survived by three sons, Christopher Michael (Jennifer) Gordon of Morrisonville, IL, Matthew Patrick (Hailey) Gordon of Lake in the Hills, IL, and Robert Charles Gordon, Jr; three grandchildren, Braxton Gordon, Isaac Gordon, and Sophia Gordon; and three brothers, Lewis (Robin) Gordon, Jr. of Gillespie, Michael (Shari) Gordon of Moro, and Marty (Carin) Gordon of South Roxana.
According to his wishes, there will be no services.
