Robert A. “Chuck” Osborne Jr., 28, formerly of Alton, died at 9:55 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2011 at his residence. He was born September 16, 1982 in Alton the son of Robert A. Osborne, Sr. and Janice “Sue” Corby Kennedy, both of Jerseyville. He was employed as a custodian for the Jersey Community School District 100. He loved sports, music and his family. He was always the entertainer; known for his humor and compassion.
Besides his parents he is survived by one brother; Brian M. Kennedy and his wife Susan D. of Jerseyville, and two sisters: Breanna L. Kennedy and her life partner Adam J. Tinker of Alton and Dionne M. Osborne of Alton, several nieces and nephews: Josh, Kyleigh, Korby, Hannah, Ethan, Samantha, Alex, Carissa, Brandon and Frankie.
Visitation will be Monday, April 4, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with Father William Hembrow to officiate. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
